About Esther DCS

Esther discovered her passion at seventeen — not in a classroom, but in the atmosphere of an after-hours club where she worked as a waitress. It was the energy of people coming together, the feeling of occasion, the detail that makes a room come alive. She hadn't named it yet, but something had started.

She went on to study International Leisure and Events Management, then International Marketing. By 2018, she had founded Ëlabba — a brand built around the belief that every good thing in life deserves to be celebrated. Alongside it came Ëlabba Play, a social responsibility initiative bringing real celebrations to children in disadvantaged communities.

Over the past 8 years, that work has grown into a wider creative practice spanning events, branding, products, and thoughtful storytelling.

The pandemic forced a pivot — and brought something unexpected. As Ëlabba moved digital, Esther went through what she describes as an awakening: a deeper understanding of herself and the kind of work she wanted to make. That process led to The Chic Noir, a creative partnership where celebration, branding, and intentional living come together.

“I simply loved and enjoyed that atmosphere. It made me happy. Because of that, I decided to study — and I finally knew what I wanted to be.”
